Skywatch, remembering Cape May Bird Weekend

Howdee all,

I was just thinking of the Cape May shoreline and the Birding weekend that we went to this past October. It was our first time in Cape May. .
We saw many beautiful clouds. Some with bits of blue sky peaking through.

Some dense.

Some with the sun glowing through.

and some with the sun saying goodnight.

We had a great time and will go back again.

Happy Holidays to you all...

  7. A very nice series for SWF. The trees in the first image are amazing. And in the second photo it looks like everybody is watching the sky. Yea, I know it's a birding trip. Nice sunset with the lighthouse.

  8. Fantastic photos, Dawn! I saw that sunset on Laura's blog (Somewhere in NJ). Lynne from Hasty Brook, Susan at Susan Gets Native, Delia from Beginning to Bird, and Kathi at Katdoc's World were all there! They're on my sidebar. I would have loved to go but the expense of travel from way down here...well, you know. Maybe next year!

Glad I could comment tonight :o)

The photo of the group looking out is great.

  17. Hey there, you Superior Scribbler, you! First of all, I'm not "spamming" you; I promise! Second of all, I'd like to introduce myself: I'm Melissa B., The Scholastic Scribe, & I'm the "Original" Superior Scribbler! Third thing on my mind: I've been nominated for a pretty prestigious blog award; I'd greatly appreciate your vote, so if you click on over to my place, you'll see the info. It's an annual award from EduBlog, and I'm up for Best Individual Blog. And 4th thing on today's agenda: I've got a cute "contest," of sorts, going on at my place every Sunday. Please come by this Sunday for the Silly Sunday Sweepstakes. And, thanks for your support!

  20. I love the first and last shots -- they could be paintings. I especially love the spray of color the tree gives the first one. And I'm partial to lighthouses anyway, so the last one was a natural for me.
