Under the Rainbow…..Sky watch Friday

Howdee all,

Two days ago Mom and I were out weeding her front garden. The skies looked stormy ..it was sunny and cloudy and a few drops of rain began to fall..

We thought we might see a rainbow..but nothing..We continued to weed the garden. When a neighbor yelled out “Rainbow”

We looked up and sure enough..double rainbow! It started to rain..I ran in to get my camera..forgetting an umbrella..

So there are raindrops on my camera lens….But I did capture the Rainbow..

You are so lucky to capture that image of the double rainbow--looks great. I only seem to see rainbows when I'm on the interstate where it's too hard to get a shot.

Wow! That's a good one Dawn! Great shots! I wonder why it's lighter underneath the bottom one? I just don't understand the science of it all.

Double rainbows should be an omen of something important and wonderful - they are too special to be just another natural phenomenon.

Nice one, there always appears to be a double bow when I see them over here-its a shame they disappear so fast though, thanks for sharing-Like your layout:)

Double rainbows, so hard to catch. You definitely have to watch for raindrops on the lens (or UV filter if you use one). It's happened to me several times.

I live with raindrops..and I guess I don't think about it. Nice above the house-
