Howdee all,
Summer of 2006 ..we spent a bit over a month in the south west portion of Colorado.
One place we visited was Colorado National Monument. Beautiful rock formations and scenery.
And Beautiful Skies.
Go visit the Monument if you can!
Happy Skywatch to you all!
Very interesting clouds. They look vaguely scary, as if a storm is brewing. But also very scenic.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing the gorgeous scenery! I like your Christmas greeting, too! Merry Christmas to you, too!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your photographs.
ReplyDeleteLove the sky photographs. Such pretty colors.
ReplyDeleteW0W, these are very beautiful!
ReplyDeleteYour gypsy lifestyle intrigues me. And now, I'm off to check out the rest of your blog.
Amazing! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteMy God these photos are so beautiful, made me wish to be there...
ReplyDeleteGreat shots. This looks like a must for our future wanderings. Happy Holiday to you and Jeff
ReplyDeleteAll the images are just breathtaking!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh! what beautiful colors in the sky. MB
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Colorado skies. The 4-corners region of the American SW offers so many awesome sights.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous scenery and skies! I'm a western girl at heart and these photos thrilled me.
ReplyDeleteWishing you a Happy New Year and lots of good photo-ops.
I've never been to this particular Monument, but its beauty does remind me of Canyonlands for sure.
ReplyDeleteI love the desert, but haven't been to one in a long time. My friend who is a geologist calls it "naked geology" because it is so easy to see what is happening with the earth. I really like your colourful sky shots. It looks like a warm day, but I guess is wasn't because of the jacket. It has been pretty cool here lately. I invite you to come see my Coastal BC snow warning. -- Margy
ReplyDeleteSuperb, all four, but the last two are to die for!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photos!
ReplyDeleteBeatufiul country. Photography is so wonderful, its great to always be able to look back on those memories.
ReplyDeleteMagnificent view. Yes, Colorado is beautiful, still need to see this part though. The last two photographs are stunning, like Arija said.
ReplyDeleteNice pictures Nob. I set up a new account and I'm testing..
ReplyDeleteHi Dawn,
ReplyDeleteThe third photo of the man and his bins is my favorite. It looks surreal - so beautiful. Wow.

I love that part of the country. The photos remind me a bit of the Grand Canyon.
