A summer wouldn't be a summer without a day at the beach, whether your beach is a pond, lake, ocean, or river…
These photos were taken last weekend on a visit to my sisters community beach in Niantic, Ct.

A day at the beach can also be a dip in a silly little pool in the middle of the sandhills of NC. Have I told you that you have gorgeous knees. Better than many movie stars.
