Sky watch Friday

Howdee all..
This is my third skywatch post...I have been enjoying looking at all the skies from all over the world.
Here is my part of the world a few days ago...This was taken from a field near my sisters house...close to where we park our Homey. Our Homey is our Motorhome..our fulltime home.

this second photo I took yesterday as we were birding in Weymouth woods.
A fellow blogger, Dewdrop just told me that the sky in the above photo has crepuscular rays. neat..
i learned something new...and the sky below has altocumulus clouds...
she should know...she is a storm chaser!

one thing is certain..

the sky is always changing..and I am always learning....

Now go run off and see more cool skys

  9. Dawn, these images are lovely. I especially love the sun with its rays penetrating the clouds and getting diffused. On the second image, I love clouds like that, when they cover the entire sky. Very dramatic that you framed it with bare trees. Thanks for visiting my blog. Come back soon.

  10. The light coming through the clouds in your first shot is awesome - and the 2nd picture - very nice. And yes, Dew knows her clouds. I'm a very poor student of hers. All I remember is "Dew would have a name for these clouds" :-) Happy SWF!

They are so poignant to life..."the sky is always changing...and I am always learning"... You are so right and this is such a intuitive feelng and statement! Thanks for the visit!

  14. Sorry I missed this one when it published. Your pictures are beautiful.
The only thing wrong with Sky Watch is, there are so many entries you just can't stop at all of them.
