Howdee all,
This past week we have been in Titusville....Stuck in Service for Homey…
Oh~ poor us..
Guess we should go look at some birds..
Jeff and I did a quick drive on Gator Road..
Our destination was Biolab Road..
We stopped before the road to see if we could find some Scrub Jays..
There was a prescribed burn here a few days before..
I left with my feet as black as these Vultures..
Jeff found the Scrub Jay and digiscoped it..
We then headed to Biolab road…
We were looking for Stilt Sandpipers that had be reported here..
We continued on
that’s when we saw pink..
Roseate, Tri-colored Heron, Black-necked Stilt
Close up of the lovely Spoonbill
Love those pink legs!
Trio in Pink..
he covers his head with a towel s that he can see the screen of his camera better.
I had fun taking photos of the Spoonbill also~
We left the Spoonbills and continued on Biolab Road
We find a Green Heron..
And ~
if you haven't had enough of the Spoonbills..
Jeff Digiscoped these~
Here's lookin at ya..
What a face..
Cute Pair..
Love them!
I was playing around with one of the Roseate photos..and came up with this`
~I thought it would make a cool notecard~
Jeff and I are on our way to North Carolina as I type this! We had a fabulous time in Florida this winter.
Time to migrate north…
Cant wait to see Sicksta and her family!

Looks like you had a great day. We had similar results on Bio Lab the other day. Viera was awesome yesterday. We managed to get an osprey and a bald eagle in flight. Eagle carrying a fish in its talons too! Lots of pics to sift through. Down day today.
