I wasn’t going to walk the beach on our last morning in Sanibel

It was a very cold morning in the mid 30s.

But….

I just couldn’t leave without one more walk.

So, I bundled up and headed to the beach while Jeff stayed in

to do some paper work.

  4. I love all your shells - what a great spot! And the coral, and starfish, etc. Wow! I would have come home with bags full. I like the way you've spread them all out with like shells together. Your "still life" photos are true, natural still life arrangements. Very nice! :)

  5. Oh, those piles of shells! They brought back memories ...

When I was a kid, far to the north, I'd find the occasional pile like this (long ago, while the seas were still clean) and plunk myself down right there to sort through them, picking up each one, and putting it back. Hours later, I would leave with one or two, or maybe none, in my pocket.

I didn't think I was getting comments on my blog...I forgot that I turned on comment moderation because I was getting spam comments....but because of that I was not being notified of comments unless I went directly to my blog.
So I turned off the moderation and hope that works...
