The other…Huntington Beach

Howdee all,

Here we are..Our home for 10 days.

Huntington Beach State Park

Not the Huntington Beach in California..

The other Huntington Beach..

South Carolina..

We took an early morning walk yesterday..

Just a handful of people on the beach..

It was low tide..

revealing ripples and wavy lines in the sand..

Foam sparkled in the morning sun

A lone Ruddy turnstone..

Searched the beach for breakfast..

Its shadow following along..

I see a heart..do you?

A distant raft of Horned Grebe and a gull or two..

The beach looking south..

Looking north..

Sanderling run up and down the beach…foraging for food…

We leave the State Park area and approach housing and hotels..

I found two heart balloons on the beach….and walk with them until I find a trash can.

Please …do not release Balloons! It hurts the environment and wildlife.

We then turn around and head back to the park....
