Mt. Desert Island with George and Audrey

HOwDy all..

We are now in Maine for a week ...vacationing with friends George and Audrey.
We are in Mt. Desert Island Maine...staying in Southwest harbor, the quiet side of the island.
and will be hiking , kayaking and hanging out in the Acadia National Park.


We are staying at Smugglers Den Campground.
The campsite is ok, we do have free wifi which is nice. George and Audrey's cabin is disappointing. Not much besides beds and a small refrid.
Good thing we have everything in our Homey.

The weather has been beautiful the past few days....a little drizzle today in the afternoon evening, but we are expecting most of the week to be pleasant.

We are excited to be here again in this beautiful area.

Devils Hop Yard Outing

Another nice outing...this time to Devils Hop Yard....with the help of my parents new gps we ended up on a dirt road...a little side trip adventure...

Had a nice walk yesterday at Barn Island in Stonington, CT. with Mom and Dad and Star. It was a short 20 minute drive to this beautiful preserve.

Heres the video from this past weekend. My sd card filled up because I had some other stuff on it.....so I wasnt able to film as much as I would have liked.
The day was beautiful...and the patio and garden were bursting with plants and flowers.
Had a fun time...bonfire in the evening.

these are my four new tops...Yikes...do i see pinks and purples? All the tops are INC brand...they sell them at macys and other stores like that... they were all but one....75% off...so about 20 dollars each.
Well there is some brown in there somewhere....the last top is the one i will wear to temple....with the pants that are being hemmed....so you cant see those....
next blog will have the gown...shoes ...etc....
