Here we are....
John Prince park and campground~Lake Worth, Florida
It’s a nice site…wooded behind us..
A large side yard..
We face a screened in picnic area.
All the water sites were taken…..this campground books way in advance.
More than half of the people here come from eastern Canada.
We have stayed at this park many times in the past.
It’s a great location for visiting friends and family in the area.
Its also a park where Limpkin are our neighbors.
A beautiful Banyan tree..
Perfect for climbing…see inside.
Lots of fisherman come to this park…
Sadly things are left behind.
We take walks in the morning and evening here..
Its Much to hot for Jeff and I to walk mid day.
Cattle Egret
A very pale Little Green Heron
Great Blue Heron rocking some nice neck plumage..
Coot nibbling around in the background.
Great Egret with a lovely skirt of feathers..
and fishermans bobber..
This lucky little squirrel was getting treats from a little girl.
It’s a great place for a walk…
we just hop out of bed in the morning and off we go.
Did I mention there are Lots of Limpkin here…
Guaranteed sightings.
Our evening walk…
To catch the sunset…
And see what the birds are up too…
It would be easy just to stay here and never go anywhere else while we are here…
But….we have more places to explore…
A wildlife rich location. I could do with some of that Florida warmth and sunshine right now.
