Howdee all,
Considering how it could have been for us…
We fared quite well.
Just a few inches and the area has power.
We cleaned up the cars and the drive…
I placed some seeds on top of the snow for the birds..
That’s mom in the distance..We cleaned her car and Dad drove the car around to make sure it was safe before she left for Church.
An early winter wonderland..Bella enjoyed the snow…
From the news reports, Most of CT is out of power..
We were ready for the worst
..my parents have a generator and so does Homey.
We would have been fine.
The flowers didn’t fare so well~
Frozen pink petals..
Trees and branches are laden down with snow and breaking, under its weight.
They weren't ready to give up their autumn glory, so soon..,,,
to the heavy blanket of white.
Glad you are all OK.
ReplyDeleteI'd rather have a little cold and no snow in Utah.
Glad all went well for you all with the storm! The rose is a beauty!
ReplyDelete"Unreal", I think the word is Dawn. That was a surprised to see all that white stuff.
ReplyDeleteWow, that's a lot of snow... Hope all is well with you, thanks for stopping by.
ReplyDeleteSheesh! The storm was just plain unbelievable. Glad I'm farther west this time.
ReplyDeleteI was thinking about you. Glad y'all are ok.

Thanks friends! Damn~this was over a month ago..and now I am trying to respond and thank you all for stopping by.
ReplyDelete.................................
I will sound like a broken record to some..but here goes.
Sorry it has taken me so long to get back to your comments and respond to them.
It has been a difficult month to say the least. I didn't realize that I was all consumed and even though I had times when i could have commented and responded to comments I just couldn't find the strength to do it.
Now that Colin is well again and life is happy again..
I will try to catch up with all of you.
Thanks!
