Spring in Full Swing~ Carthage, NC

Howdee all,

We have been parked in my Sickstas drive for about four weeks now..We leave the end of next week.

When we arrived there were a few things blooming, the trees were just budding out.

Now its Spring in full Swing…

Very cool textures and bright colors…

Just waiting for the bugs..The Iris are starting to bloom..

Sicksta has quite a few different colors…

Here's just a few of the yellow ones…

The Hummingbirds love this vine..

I will miss sitting here in our Homey surrounded by birds and lovely gardens..

Maybe next time we should stay longer…

Five weeks go by much to quickly.

Tornado Damage Sanford, NC

Howdee all,

We drove thru parts of Sanford, NC yesterday looking at the tornado damage, from the storm on Saturday the 16th.  Sanford is the next town over from where we are in Carthage..

Many roads were closed.

All photos were taken as we drove by the areas.

The photos speak for themselves..

Below is the Lowes Store…LowesLowes…no lives lost in the store…unbelievable.

See the Jacuzzi tub below in the front yard..

That’s a tractor trailer truck overturned in the backyard…

When I see that I think of our Homey…

smells wonderful! The Lilac not the wings…

Wings that live in the moon…

I hear little chickies in there!

Black wings that eat too much seed and hog the feeders…

I do love the sounds they make..and they are rather cute piglets~ahem~that don’t raise their own young…Humm..

 

Brown spotted wings~ This one ate a few red birds at my feeders recently..…please eat the black winged birds up there^^ ^^instead!Blue wings that jump for joy when they have a bug to eat..…

They seem to know proper trail etiquette…
