Wedding flowers the day after

Howdee all,

This past weekend we drove Jeff's mom to a wedding.

We stayed overnight in a Hotel and was around if she needed us.

The morning after the wedding she was invited to breakfast. We accompanied her there and I took a few photos of the beautiful flowers.

Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS20 fun...

Howdee all,

A few more photos taken with my new Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS 20.

I don't do any work..it takes all the photos for me. Hee Hee..

Not bad for a baby point and shoot

Today we took Jeffs Mother to a wedding in CT. Jeff and I went to a nearby Audubon sanctuary.

I took these photos on our walk. I will post more tomorrow when I get back to my computer. I am posting this via my iPad and the Blogsy app.

Having fun playing with my new toys! Still so much to learn!

Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS20–exploring

Howdee all,

I have had my new camera for a few days now and still have not finished reading the manual. Too many interruptions. I will get there.

I have played around with my camera a bit.

Trying macro and macro zoom shots.

P1000057

P1000125We went to the farmers market and I took a few more shots.

P1000100I like it so far.

P1000104

P1000105

I also played around the with the sweeping Panoramic mode. It seems to work well..when I playback the picture on my camera it pans through the whole photo rather than show it all in one shot like the photo below. Not sure how to change it here so it plays as a real panorama…need to do some reading.

P1000174

I took a few photos with the HDR mode..It seemed to capture the sky as well as the forefront and blend them well.

P1000237

A few more macro and macro zoom photos..after the rainP1000247

I took a few….. many I deleted because my focus was off.P1000257
P1000264

I also noticed that I somehow added a watermark of the date.. I do NOT like that and just changed the setting.

P1000280

P1000278I still have SO much to learn about this camera. I am still learning how to use my ipad. Lots of studying to do this summer…

Time to exercise my brain.

Busy techno bee

Howdee all,

As many of you know I recently purchased an iPad. I have been busy learning how to use it and am still adjusting and tweaking it so that it works the way I want it too.

Just yesterday the replacement for my baby camera arrived.

My new point and shoot has many new features I will be exploring.

HDR photos, sweeping panorama, GPS, 3D photo mode, etc.

I am actually reading the manual. Yep...RTFM as my friend Linda Rockwell would say..look Linda..I am!

Below is my learning center.

It's kinda nice that it's been rainy for the past few days..I feel better about being indoors studying.

Below our Homey in Massachusetts..family driveway.

Besides being a geek..I have been helping our daughter plan her wedding! It's fun!

So if I am not commenting on blogs as much please forgive me.. I still like to read but don't always take the time to comment.

Sicksta Lori's and her Hunny's Garden

Howdee all,

Yesterday Jeff and I stopped off at Sicksta Lori's to pick up Jeff's old saxophone. He is going to have it repaired so that he can play a few songs with the band that will play for our daughter, Samarrah and her Jeff's wedding reception in September.

While there my other Sicksta Adele from NC wanted me to take a few photos of their garden so she could see them as I chatted to her online.

All photos taken with my new iPad.

Hope you enjoy too.

Front gardens

I should go back with my real camera and take better photos.

Front garden looking across the street.

Side yard garden and driveway.

Pots going up stairs made by Sicksta and her hunny.

Oh goodness.. I forget the name of the flower Sicksta is showing us.

The fellas hanging out in the back garden. The vegetable garden behind them.
All stonework done by my Sickstas hunny.

Patio area.

Veggie garden.

Sedum gardens.

Side yard patio area.
There is much more to this area but I didn't take enough photos. There is a fire pit, BBQ area with sink, small refridg.

Planting in the side yard garden.

Here we are back in the front again..this is on the right side of their home.
Hope you enjoyed the tour.

Jeff and I have left CT and are now in MA for the month of June.
We will be busy helping our daughter plan her wedding.
Fun times!
