Who is this ratty looking butterfly that came to visit the orange yesterday?
Not opening its wings.
Looks like it has seen better days..
I was able to get only one photo of its wings opened before it flew away.
I think this is a Question Mark Butterfly
When I blow up the photo of it with its wings closed I see too marks.
What do you think?

I am in CT now, Jeff is off to New Hampshire hiking camp with his brother.

They have a home on the cape and invited us to visit.
The town of Oysterville is not to far from their Marston Mills home.
They said the big yachts were not in yet for the summer.
These gas tanks weren't very big…I thought motorboats would need more than what's in these small tanks.
A beautiful Wooden Sailboat.
We drove around a bit and then went out to the Jetty to see the small beach and the fisherman.
Another lovey day on Cape Cod.

My Midwest friends have been without power and it in the triple digits out there…Yikes..Take care yall!

Jeff and I are in CT again…
Yesterday we went with friends to Downtown Mystic.
An Idyllic little town on the coast of CT
It’s always a bit cooler here than inland, so it was nice to visit yesterday..
Scorching hot just about everywhere..
The Mystic River Bascule Bridge is a bascule bridge, a type of drawbridge with counterweights, that spans the Mystic River
Mystic has a small downtown area..easy walking.
Fun shopping and great eateries.
Two of my Sickstas and I dream of owning three homes on this river..
We have already picked them out..
Now we just need to figure out how to pay for them. :)
I wouldn’t mind waking up to this scene every morning..

My favorite outdoor eating place on Cape Cod
The food is yummy and the view is superb..
It gets crowded, but well worth the wait…
You order as you enter and wait around to find an open table..numbers are called out for dinner orders.
BYOB
We brought a few bottles of wine and some Cider.
A great vantage point for watching the boats go by..
