The drive over the mountain pass on the Million dollar Highway was a bit hair raising..... I had to help Jeff several times by telling him when to brake and when to slow down. ha....
It is much warmer here than Silverton...but it is also about 2000 feet lower in elevation too.
Ughh! I had my long distance breaks on all the way. Gorgeous views but I had to keep my eye on that white line so you would not go over. As if I could even help.
Okay I am commenting on the first video now cause I a laughing so hard I don't know if I will remember what I wanted to comment on after watching the second.
I really liked the title effect with the words in the background that was cool. I don't know if you used that before.
I forget everything else except to say that remember on the next video you have to lean to the right not the left or you will tumble for sure. I was leaning with you by the way.
Oh that Jeffie, always the daredevil, imagine driving and waving at the same time. What a nut he is. He should have offered you a little cheese with your whine. It is certainly sobering though when you see the speed limit is 25 yikes. Overall I think it was the moaning and groaning that saved you, maybe the leaning also. I really don't think your brakes work at all.
Dawn, you and Jeff are so brave and amazing to drive that in Homey. But I think I have to give you the 1st prize over Jeff for bravey. You were in the hot seat looking down with no brakes( sorry to tell you that, even though I enjoyed watching you tried to work them with your feet. I found myself leaning back trying to slow down Homey on your trip to Ouray. We couldn't even do it in a car. Joe said the only way, we will ever get to Ouray is when we can pay someone who has done it and is very comfortable driving it. Thanks for taking us on the ride, I enjoyed the ride with out the hair raising thrill!
