South Beach SP~Oregon ~MUshRoOmS!

We had a great campsite in South Beach State Park

not only was it fairly deserted…

but…also…Wherever I would walk~

Mushrooms…

Amanita Muscaria…

I think this is a young Amanita muscaria

Some type of suillus..

Have not Identified this yet..

Lactarius of some sort?

Very plentiful in this park.

I took a walk out to the ocean..

over the dunes..

A short quarter mile walk from the campground..

Ahh..

Just a few people on this big beach..

It was evening and the shadows were long..

I take the path back to the campground..

Stopping along the way to admire the plate sized Amanitas..

Golden crowned kinglets serenaded me..

As I looked down..

Lactarius deliciosus  

 Saffron milk cap, Red pine mushroom

More Amanitas..

Hundreds of Shaggy Mane dot a gravel path in the campground.

I picked a few for dinner..

and headed back to our campsite..

We are now a bit further south in Florence…

Will look for more surprises tomorrow..
