a nice day was had in Maine...touring the area...beautiful ocean views....salt marshy areas, inlets,
the salty air....Great Lobster dinner with crab cakes and corn...great appetizers as well....
Fresh home made high bush blueberry pie and lemon squares for dessert...Georgias a great cook.. and thanks doc for cooking the crustaseans.....yummm

Macoun apples and contact lens

Well its Fall tommorow...

...and I am eating a Macoun appple....my favorite apple, and it is only available for such a short period of time....so i will eat one a day until there are no more on the trees.

And I can, without cheaters, see the apple. I can, without cheaters, read on the computer and read just about anything...unless it is soooo small... I am using a contact in one eye for close vision, I am still new to this , as i just got the contact yesterday. But so far I like what i see...ha...
I do loose a little distance vision, it seems a bit strange... I will see how it goes.

Here are the porcelain mushrooms I have from aunt lil.....well actually her daughter gave them to me...arent they cool? I wonder if they are worth anything?

Another very good book...very good advice on Diet and health. Gets you metabolism moving again. This may be too difficult for some to do. Jeff and i did this after gaining weight and at first I lost a few pounds then a few weeks later i started losing more.It does get your body ready to burn the calories. If i stuck with this diet I would certainly loose more pounds.

Tara didn't get the golden ticket, as she called it....But she was there and tried.....It was a fun time and only sad in the end. But that's that.... For whatever reason, she wasn't chosen by the two girls that gave her the audition. the other girls that went up with Tara, after hearing Tara sing, were surprised that Tara wasn't chosen to go on because they thought she was great. Who knows what they are looking for....
But, It was a very exciting time, Seeing what happens during this first process of
American Idol.
We sang songs with the crowd...filmed an umbrella scene that will be on the Boston show of idol.
Tara attracted attention and her picture was taken several times and she did a TV interview.
It was a great experience..
look for us on Fox tv or maybe at the boston idol show...
