Birding Biolab Road~Pretty in Pink..

Howdee all,

This past week we have been in Titusville....Stuck in Service for Homey…

Oh~ poor us..

Guess we should go look at some birds..

Jeff and I did a quick drive on Gator Road..

Our destination was Biolab Road..

We stopped before the road to see if we could find some Scrub Jays..

There was a prescribed burn here a few days before..

I left with my feet as black as these Vultures..

Jeff found the Scrub Jay and digiscoped it..

We then headed to Biolab road…

We were looking for Stilt Sandpipers that had be reported here..

that’s when we saw pink..

Jeff and I are on our way to North Carolina as I type this! We had a fabulous time in Florida this winter.

Time to migrate north…

  1. Looks like you had a great day. We had similar results on Bio Lab the other day. Viera was awesome yesterday. We managed to get an osprey and a bald eagle in flight. Eagle carrying a fish in its talons too! Lots of pics to sift through. Down day today.
