I adore Cape Cod (usually out by Wellfleet & Truro), but haven't been for several years. Thanks for bringing it to my armchair in steamy NYC. Maine, too, is an old stomping ground, but I never got to Acadia. I'll look forward to your posts.
I just LOVE Acadia! I'm really envious and I hope you have a wonderful time. If you are there long enough, check out "Allied Whale" with the College of the Atlantic. Great working boat with naturalists onboard.
Thanks everyone..Chatham is a lovely town..full of summer tourists now..including us.. I really prefer going off season..but family is there now. We are now in Acadia national park.. love this place!
