Sonoran Desert Museum..more Birds

Howdee all,

Jeff and I go to the Desert Museum most every day now that we are camped close by..

We became members…We arrive when the Museum opens at eight thirty and go on the Bird walk..we always grab our free coffee to warm us up..

Thought i would show you a few more birds..

Spotted Towhee..a pleasant surprise.

Isn't it lovely…nice dots.. DESERT MUSEum_007 Black throated sparrow..less common..but seen quite a bit here…

Today Jeff and I are going for a hike to Brown Mountain..

We hear the rattlesnakes are out..

Yikes..I will be looking at the ground allot.

  2. ...I love that Barn Owl....another bird with a heart on his face! The Black-throated Sparrows are gorgeous--I want to see one. Love the photo of the woodpecker popping his head out of the cactus...too cute.

  3. I was going to say "Love the shot of the Woodpecker" but then I saw the Dove pictures and loved them, then the Hawk ,then.... I love them all

  4. Oh what a nice post of so many neat birds..just love the woodpecker and his abode!! Yes, guess you should be looking down as much as you look up..don't need to be stepping close to any snakes..esp rattlers.

  5. Dawn, there is nothing wrong and everything right about you bird photos. Absolutely awesome captures. Nice to go this special place daily.
    Watch out for rattlesnakes, and get a good pic.
